Continuing Developmental Services

The Life Transitions Center supports a new paradigm for learning and enhancing life skills for students and adults with developmental disabilities. Sixty students spend their days choosing from Learning Centers designed to support training in various life skills. These are organized around a public "Town Square" which serves as a gathering area and includes access to a store, bank, and pharmacy. Another eighty students are trained in assembly and manufacturing processes in the workshop space. Additionally, a therapy pool is available to all. Central administration, offices for support staff, and training facilities are incorporated to provide synergy for the Life Transitions Center.
