June 2, 2008 -- Kathleen Schmitt has joined HBT Architects as an interior designer. Kathleen is a recent graduate of Kent State University and will be assisting our interior architects with a variety of projects. Kathleen will also be working on the modifications to our design library as the firm now specifies mainly LEED certified product and materials.

May 26, 2008 -- HBT awarded new Medical Office Building for Gallina Development. The new building is the first building in the planned North Pointe Landing development in Greece, NY. The two story, 32,000 square foot building planned to begin construction in the fall of 2008.

May 16, 2008 -- Alfred University breaks ground on new LEED Certified student housing project. HBT Architects designed the 48 bed LEED certified facility known as Ann's House. This will be Alfred University's first LEED building and it is designed to set an example for future housing projects on campus. The project will be occupied by students in the fall of 2009.

March 28, 2008 -- Trevor Harrison has obtained his NCARB Certification. Trevor obtained this distinction through the Broadly Experienced Architect program. With NCARB certification, HBT can increase the number of states in which the firm can practice architecture. Currently the firm is registered in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Florida.


March 3, 2008 -- Al Sigl Building 10 wins AIA Rochester Design Citation. HBT Architects has been awarded a design citation for Al Sigl Building 10. The award was presented at the AIA Rochester design awards dinner on March 1.



February 18, 2008 -- Lindsay Brownschidle has passed her LEED Accreditation exam. Congratulations Lindsay.

February 11, 2008 -- Kelly Jahn has joined HBT Architects. Kelly has recently moved back to Rochester after working as an architect for 10 years in St Louis. Kelly brings extensive experience in interior architectural design.

January 1, 2008 -- Harrison Bridges & Associates has become HBT Architects as of January 1, 2008. The name change is in keeping with the development of the firm. We are a group of talented professionals who work together and share our talents for the success of our clients. Our firm has been able to provide clients with high quality architecture because of the efforts of our entire staff and it is appropriate to focus on our overall culture as the reason our firm has differentiated ourselves.
